1. Information We Collect

When you create an account, we collect your full name, email address, and password (hashed). We record whether your email has been verified, the date of verification, and any plan you selected during registration. When you subscribe to a paid plan, payment processing is handled by Stripe — we do not store credit card numbers, but we do store a Stripe customer ID and subscription status (active, past due, canceled, trialing) so we can manage your access.

When you submit our contact form, we store your name, email, subject, and message. When you redeem a promo code, we record which code you used and when.

We automatically collect usage data including pages visited, scan results viewed, and feature usage patterns to improve our service.

2. How We Use Your Information

  • Providing and operating the Surgepulse Prismo surge detection service
  • Sending email verification, password reset, welcome, and contact-form confirmation emails
  • Sending scan alerts via Telegram, WhatsApp, or email (if enabled)
  • Processing payments, applying promo codes, and managing subscription lifecycle (renewals, cancellations, billing portal access)
  • Enforcing access control — unverified emails and users without an active plan are redirected to verification or pricing pages
  • Improving our ML models and prediction accuracy
  • Communicating service updates and security notices

3. Data Sharing

We do not sell your personal information. We share data only with:

  • Stripe — payment processing, billing portal, invoice history (email + customer ID)
  • Polygon.io — market data and news headlines (no personal data shared)
  • Telegram/Twilio — for delivering notifications you opted into
  • Email delivery provider — to send transactional emails (verification, password reset, welcome, contact confirmations)

4. Data Retention

Account data is retained while your account is active. Scan results and alert history are retained for up to 12 months. You may request deletion of your account and associated data at any time by contacting us.

5. Security

We use industry-standard security measures including encrypted connections (HTTPS), hashed passwords, and secure third-party payment processing. However, no method of transmission over the internet is 100% secure.

6. Your Rights

You have the right to access, correct, or delete your personal data. You can update your profile information from your account settings or contact us for data requests.
